Special Team to Test Quality of Imported Drugs
The Sri Lankan Ministry of Health depolyed special teams to companies manifacturing drugs today(14) to investigate the quality and the standard of the drugs imported. Director of Cosmetic Devices and Drugs Regulatory Authority (CDDRA) of Sri Lanka Dr. Hemantha Beneragama said that the teams were deployed under the direction and instructions of Minister Maithreepala Sirisena, as several issues had arisen during the recent past with regards to the quality and the standard of imported drugs.

GOVT. AIMS TO REDUCE WHEAT CONSUMPTION
