POST MASTER GENERAL TO RESIGN

Post Master General M.K.B. Dissanayaka has resigned from his post. The Joint Postal Trade Union recently held a ‘Satyagraha’ movement in front of the Postal Headquarters demanding the removal of Dissanayaka.

When contacted by Ada Derana, Dissanayaka however stated that he had not resigned but had asked for a transfer to another post.
